Binghamton University is undergoing the replacement of two existing residential life complexes on its upstate New York campus.  The complex includes 3,000 beds of student housing in eight residence halls, support and a collegiate center.

The Center for Science and Engineering (CSE) is a new 100,000 square foot building planned for the SUNY Orange Middletown Campus.  It will contain classrooms, labs, faculty offices and support spaces for the Science, Engineering, Architecture and Biology programs.  It will also include a tiered Forum, lobby, catering kitchen, roof garden and patio to be used for receptions and college-wide functions.

Oriskany Residence Hall consists of a three-story main building with two smaller two-story wings. This state of the art residence hall takes advantage of the south-facing sloping site by organizing a floor plan around a central courtyard while stepping down the site.  The brick and architectural panel facades create an aesthetic unique to this building and the campus which reinforces the identity of the freshman class.  A residential scale is developed by alternating protruding glass and panel window elements with a larger element associate with the two story living rooms.
