Project: Renovation and Additions
           to five (5) existing school buildings
Architect: Stieglitz Snyder Architecture
Construction Schedule: June-July 2013 Construction Start
with Construction Completion anticipated by August 2014

This Capital Project addresses health, safety and instructional improvements to Brockport School District buildings, parking lots and fields.

The proposed scope of work includes:

HILL SCHOOL:   Reconstruct pavement, reconstruct roofing, window repairs, repair masonry walls, replace carpet, install wireless network, upgrade piping, install door operators.

OLIVER SCHOOL:  Repair masonry walls, reconstruct pavement and reconfigure bus loop and intersection, replace roof, reconstruction of exterior masonry, repair windows, install network cabling, install wireless network, reconstruct athletic fields and track, enhance existing security system.

HIGH SCHOOL:  Upgrade science / technology equipment, repair masonry walls, window repairs, replace roof membranes, upgrade girl's locker room, auditorium repairs, rehabilitate steel beams in pool mechanical room; reconstruct pavement; replace stadium press box, bracing and scoreboard, install wireless network, plumbing upgrades, add/replace temperature controls, install door operators.

OLIVER MIDDLE SCHOOL: Bus Loop and Parking Lot Configuration; address safety concerns associated with combined pedestrian, vehicle and bus traffic, severe traffic congestion, poor parking lot condition, offset intersection concerns.

BARCLAY SCHOOL HEATING SYSTEM REPLACEMENT.

BARCLAY SCHOOL LIBRARY - Reconstruction / Addition: Provide sufficient space for teachers to utilize the library for class projects, create space for teacher resources and expanded opportunities for student learning, create additional space to incorporate modern technology.

    Phase 2, renovation of Houghton Hall, will commence upon completion of the new building and eventually house the departments of physics, geosciences, mathematics and computer and information sciences - thereby creating a Fredonia Science Complex dedicated to all of the STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) disciplines.  Previously spread over 4 different buildings, all sciences will now be under one roof.
